A Copywriter plays a crucial role in shaping the brand communication strategy of a company. With 1–2 years of experience, the Copywriter is expected to create compelling, engaging, and persuasive content that connects with audiences across digital and offline platforms. The role involves writing clear, crisp, and well-structured content for websites, social media campaigns, email marketing, brochures, landing pages, product descriptions, advertising campaigns, and brand communication material.
The Copywriter collaborates closely with the marketing team, graphic designers, and social media managers to conceptualize ideas and create high-quality content that aligns with brand tone, voice, and messaging. The candidate is expected to understand audience behavior, conduct basic market research, and incorporate insights into content strategy. They must be good at storytelling and capable of creating fresh, creative angles for brand positioning.
Daily responsibilities include brainstorming with the creative team, drafting content calendars, writing short-form and long-form copy, proofreading, editing content for clarity, and ensuring all content pieces follow SEO and brand guidelines. Basic understanding of SEO writing and keyword placement is preferred. The candidate should be familiar with digital trends, advertising styles, and social media content formats such as reels, scripts, captions, ad copies, and banners.
