We are seeking a Junior Business Development Manager to join our growing team at Get Picked Up (GPU) . This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their career in business development while making a meaningful impact in both the transport and community services sectors.
In this role, you will help expand our footprint within the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) by building relationships with participants, Support Coordinators, and providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively engage with NDIS Support Coordinators, participants, Plan Managers, and other stakeholders to promote GPU’s transport services
- Conduct outreach via cold calls, emails, networking, and attendance at industry events
- Deliver tailored proposals and quotes to NDIS participants and other potential clients
- Build and manage a pipeline of repeat and high-value clients
- Attend expos and networking events in the NDIS and transport sectors
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system
- Support the broader sales team with strategic initiatives and insights from the field
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence in cold calling and face-to-face engagement
- Highly organised and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or outreach roles is advantageous but not required
