Role Description
This is an on-site internship role for a Junior Interior Designer based in Chennai. The Junior Interior Designer will assist in space planning, developing construction drawings, and contributing to interior design concepts. Responsibilities include collaborating with senior designers, sourcing FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and ensuring that creative solutions align with client needs and project timelines. The role will involve learning and contributing to the design process while gaining hands-on experience.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Space Planning and Interior Design principles
- Familiarity with Architecture and experience in creating Interior Drawings
- Understanding of FF&E selection and sourcing processes
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape or similar tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and take feedback constructively
- Passion for designing aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces
- 6 months - 2 years of work experience is mandatory.
