Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Labor and Delivery Nurse based in Bhubaneswar. The Labor and Delivery Nurse will be responsible for providing patient care during labor and delivery, administering medications, monitoring fetal heart rates, and providing patient education. The role involves assisting in childbirth procedures, ensuring both mother and baby are well cared for. Additionally, the nurse will collaborate with healthcare teams to maintain a safe and supportive environment for the patients.
Qualifications
- Labor and Delivery Nursing, Labor and Delivery skills
- General Nursing and Medicine knowledge
- Strong Critical Thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in high-stress situations
- Current state nursing license and BLS/ACLS certification
- Previous experience in labor and delivery is preferred
- BSN or equivalent nursing degree
