Project Overview:
We are a fast-growing team who are developing innovative microelectronics-based solutions for the use in automotive industry. Our components communicate, measure, regulate and control safety, comfort, powertrain and network functions. Our latest products include: Lighting, LiDAR, Ultrasonic Ranging, Object and Gesture Recognition, Thermal Management, Electronic Fuse Control and SSPs.
Requirements:
- Technical computer science or comparable qualification;
- 5-7 years of experience in software and/or system development for embedded systems in the automotive industry;
- Proven experience in leading test teams or projects;
- Experience with test planning, execution, and reporting;
- Experience with the Automotive SPICE methodology, in specific with SWE.4 - SWE.6 processes;
- Hands-on experience of embedded systems (C programming) and their requirements for defining suitable test cases;
- Good knowledge of software test tools (SW -Testing), experience with scripting languages (Python preferred);
- Good documentation skills;
- Nice to have:
- Experience with the tools Tessy, HelixQAC, Robot-Framework, JIRA, Confluence, Polarion, Enterprise Architect, SVN, and GIT;
- Knowledge of automotive bus systems (focus on LIN/CAN/FR/DSI3) and interfaces;
- Knowledge of functional safety according to ISO26262 and cybersecurity according to ISO 21434;
- Understanding of electronic circuits and bare metal development;
- Experience with HW and the use of oscilloscope;
- Experience with test benches, HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), and simulation environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of test engineers and technicians.
- Define test strategies and plans for software and components in the field of product-oriented development of embedded technical software on 16/32-bit microcontrollers;
- Develop test schedules, resource allocation, and budget planning;
- Ensure alignment with project milestones and development timelines;
- Prepare and present technical reports and test summaries to stakeholders;
- Development, implementation, optimization and maintenance of unit, integration and software tests;
- Development, commissioning and maintenance of test tools;
- Participation in requirements analysis, architecture and design of the software from the point of view of testability;
- Ensure all testing complies with industry standards.
