Your Challenges and Responsibilities:
- Bringing Vision to Life: Translate wireframes, mock-ups, and design concepts into visually appealing and user-friendly reusable elements for Magento 2.
- Flawless Implementation: Integrate third-party designs into Magento 2 CMS Pages, CMS Blocks, and PHTML files with precision and attention to detail.
- Responsive User Experience: Develop and maintain fully responsive web designs for Magento 2 using HTML5, CSS3 (with preprocessors like LESS), modern JavaScript, and ensuring an optimal experience across all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
- Synergistic Collaboration: Work closely with the backend development team to ensure design implementation is technically sound and aligned with specifications.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Optimize interfaces to guarantee smooth and consistent navigation across all popular web browsers.
- Creative Support: Collaborate on the creation of graphic assets and marketing materials for web-based applications.
- Continuous Innovation: Proactively propose ideas for improving website usability, design, and overall functionality.
- User-Centric Focus: Apply UX/UI principles and web accessibility standards to create inclusive and user-centered online experiences.
What We're Looking For in You:
- Proven Experience: At least three years of hands-on frontend development experience with Magento 2.
- Solid Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (LESS, Tailwind is a plus), JavaScript (familiarity with modern frameworks/libraries is a plus).
- Magento 2 Familiarity: Basic experience with PHP and the Magento 2 structure, including template and layout management.
- Master of Design Tools: Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent.
- Responsive Mindset: Deep understanding of responsive web design principles, with a particular focus on mobile optimization.
- Eye for Detail: A strong sense of visual aesthetics and meticulous attention to detail.
- Magento 2 Certification (plus): Magento 2 certification is considered a plus.
- Effective Collaborator: Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with developers.
- Fluent Communication: Excellent communication skills in English and/or Italian.
