Position Overview: The CFO will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects of A-ONE GOLD & DIAMONDS, ensuring financial health and compliance across all divisions, including diamond manufacturing, jewelry manufacturing, and sales offices. The ideal candidate will have experience in precious commodity management, cost control in manufacturing, luxury retail financial operations, and a strong background in IT systems. The CFO will also play a pivotal role in preparing the company for its public offering in the coming years and will be responsible for integrating financial systems with cutting-edge technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability across the jewelry manufacturing and wholesale operations.
Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with all regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, providing detailed analysis to inform decision-making at all levels of the organization.
Cash Flow & Risk Management: Ensure efficient cash flow management and implement risk management strategies to safeguard company assets and operations.
Financial Operations for IPO: Lead the financial aspects of preparing the company for going public, ensuring the company meets all financial requirements and adheres to SEC guidelines.
Investment & Capital Management: Oversee investment strategies, including sourcing funding for growth initiatives, capital expenditures, and mergers/acquisitions.
IT Integration: Collaborate with the IT department to ensure financial systems are integrated with cutting-edge technology, including AI and automation for operational efficiency.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
Strategic Decision Support: Partner with the executive leadership team, providing data-driven insights to guide strategic business decisions, including expansion, product diversification, and international growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in senior financial roles,
Strong expertise in financial management and financial reporting.
Experience with precious commodity management (gold, diamonds, etc.).
Proven track record of preparing a company for an IPO and managing public company financials.
In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and industry best practices.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel (including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling).
A solid background in IT systems integration, particularly in linking financial systems with ERP, AI, and automation tools to optimize company operations.
Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team development and cross-departmental collaboration.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
