This role

Employment Hero is seeking a foundational Manager of Certified Partnerships to spearhead the relaunch and growth of a new software reseller program. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our partner sales channel. You'll be stepping into a start-up environment within our broader and very established partner sales business.

This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, strong operational discipline, and exceptional sales leadership. If you thrive in dynamic settings, love building processes, and are driven by achieving revenue targets through partners, this is the role for you.

You will be owning the growth of this exciting new channel. You will be reporting into the Head of Partnerships ANZ. Currently in the team there is one Account Executive who you will manage. You will empower them to deliver exceptional results, and be responsible for the revenue targets of the entire function.

Your key focus areas will be

  • Program Strategy & Development - Design, launch, and continuously optimise the Certified Reseller Partner Program framework, requirements, commercial terms, and KPIs to drive partner success and company revenue.
  • Operational Excellence & Revenue Enablement - Own all partner program operations, CRM management, pipeline tracking, revenue forecasting, commission tracking, and process optimisation — using data to sharpen performance and scalability.
  • Partner Management, Recruitment & Enablement - Define the Ideal Partner Profile, recruit and onboard new partners, deliver training programs, build strong relationships, and hold partners accountable for growth targets.
  • Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration - Lead and scale the partner team, drive alignment across Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance, and Legal, and ensure partner feedback informs company-wide GTM strategies.

This will include

  • Design, launch, and continuously improve the Certified Reseller Partner Program framework, including commercial terms, requirements, and operational processes.
  • Develop and execute the strategic plan for partner recruitment, enablement, and growth to support company revenue goals.
  • Set KPIs, build reporting mechanisms, and leverage data insights to track and optimise program and partner performance.
  • Manage all operational aspects of the program, including CRM (Salesforce) configuration, deal registration, and pipeline reporting.
  • Identify and recruit ideal partners, negotiate agreements, onboard new partners, and drive engagement through training and enablement resources.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key partners, driving accountability and revenue growth.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, CX, Legal) to align on GTM strategy and continuous program improvement.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow the Partner Management team, defining roles, hiring new team members, and fostering a high-performance, remote-friendly culture.

Who you are

  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in B2B software sales, with significant experience (3+ years) specifically in channel sales, partner management, or business development focused on reseller partners.
  • Demonstrated success in building, launching, or significantly scaling a channel/reseller partner program.
  • Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting revenue, and consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong operational mindset with hands-on experience in designing and implementing sales processes
  • Experience leading, coaching, or managing individuals or small teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly evolving environment
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
