OverviewWe seek a Market Research & Intelligence Expert to join our Technology Commercialization Division (TCD), which aims to maximize value from Aramco technologies through IP commercialization and to support business and sustainability priorities.
Your role involves supporting technology commercialization and developing market insights by collaborating with stakeholders, conducting market landscape assessments, and providing analyses to inform decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with R&D organizations and stakeholders to identify and evaluate technology projects for market studies and competitive intelligence.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on technology positioning, market conditions, customer perspectives, and competitors.
- Perform competitive analysis for projects, innovation topics, and initiatives.
- Conduct market opportunity assessments, segmentation, valuation, and strategy development.
- Present findings clearly to stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations.
- Analyze Intellectual Property claims and value propositions.
- Interpret data from various sources to identify industry trends and insights.
- Evaluate the commercial viability of in-house IP before patent filing.
- Stay updated on industry trends and improve research methods accordingly.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering; an advanced degree (MBA, MSc, PhD) is preferred.
- Have at least 10 years of experience in strategy, consulting, research, or analytical roles, including technical, operational, commercial, and strategic expertise.
- Proficiency in research methods, statistics, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with competitive intelligence tools (e.g., Derwent Database, PitchBook, LUX Research).
- Ability to critically assess information for reliability, relevance, and importance.
- Capable of preparing high-quality reports with visual and written analysis.
- Knowledge or training in IP management is required.
