Designer:
Role Summary
A Designer is responsible for conceptualizing and creating visual or functional designs for products, systems, or experiences. This role blends creativity with technical knowledge to deliver aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop design concepts based on client briefs or market research
• Create sketches, prototypes, and 3D models using CAD or design software
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and production teams
• Ensure designs meet usability, safety, and manufacturing standards
• Revise designs based on feedback and testing
• Stay updated on design trends, materials, and technologies
Skills & Qualifications
• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Strong understanding of design principles and user experience
• Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Mould Designer:
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop moulds using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, UG NX)
• Perform mould flow analysis to optimize cooling and material flow
• Select appropriate materials and coatings for durability and efficiency
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness
• Conduct design reviews and modify designs based on testing and feedback
• Document design processes and maintain technical specifications
Skills & Qualifications
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Design, or CIPET/IGTR certification
• Expertise in injection moulding, hot runner systems, and DFM principles
• Experience with 3D modeling and engineering drawings
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
