Role: Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Location: Malad West, Mumbai
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop 3D CAD models for products across industries using plastics, sheet metal, weldments, and machined parts.
- Create detailed 2D drawings for manufacturing.
- Set up and perform basic FEA analysis.
- Apply creative problem-solving in product development.
- Collaborate effectively within a team and contribute to project success.
- Handle detailed engineering of complex components.
- Communicate project updates clearly in English with clients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in 3D modeling, preferably using SolidWorks (certification or formal training is a plus).
- Familiar with manufacturing processes like injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, welding, 3D printing, and thermoforming.
- Experience in machine design is a plus.
- Skilled in creating manufacturing-ready 2D drawings.
- Experience in team coordination and project delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with Siemens NX is an advantage.
- Self-driven, with a strong sense of urgency and a passion for design.
