Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to join our team on-site in Chennai. This role involves designing mechanical systems, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software for system development, participating in research and development (R&D) activities, and performing detailed analysis to enhance product performance. The Mechanical Engineer will also oversee projects, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to delivering cutting-edge defense technology solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles and practices, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Background in Research and Development (R&D) to innovate and enhance product functionalities.
- Strong Project Management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and deliver engineering projects on time and within scope.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
- Familiarity with defense technology and associated applications is advantageous.
