Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer, based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The role involves designing mechanical components and systems, performing detailed calculations, and utilizing CAD tools for design purposes. The Mechanical Engineer will engage in research and development activities and contribute to manufacturing and quality evaluations. Additionally, responsibilities include managing project timelines, ensuring technical requirements are met, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles and applications
- Experience with Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
- Strong skills in Project Management to oversee and execute engineering tasks
- Knowledge of Research and Development (R&D) processes relevant to mechanical systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site collaborative environment
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field required
- Experience in the boiler and power plant industry is an advantage
