Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer with a strong understanding of electrical motors, pneumatics, fabrication, and assembly. The ideal candidate will coordinate between the design and production floor—turning concepts into finished machines by working closely with CNC operators, lathe operators, and fabrication teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Integrate electrical motors, pneumatic systems, and mechanical components into functional machinery.
- Coordinate with CNC, lathe, bending, and fabrication departments to ensure precision and timely job completion.
- Prepare fabrication drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
- Supervise and guide the assembly team for complete machine assembly, alignment, and testing.
- Ensure quality standards, accuracy, and on-time delivery of mechanical jobs.
- Provide technical inputs to improve manufacturing processes and machine design.
Requirements:
- B.E./Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the machinery or automation industry
- Strong command of SolidWorks (3D design and drafting)
- Sound knowledge of pneumatics, electrical motors, fabrication, and mechanical assemblies
- Practical understanding of manufacturing processes like laser cutting, machining, and bending
- Ability to lead a team and coordinate with multi-department operations
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on problem-solving and prototyping experience
- Experience in automation, robotics, or custom machine development
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics
