About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor to support product design, modeling, and engineering documentation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical design and the ability to convert concepts into accurate 3D models and drawings.
Key Responsibilities
* Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
* Develop mechanical components, machinery, or product designs as per project requirements.
* Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and basic engineering checks.
* Modify and improve existing designs based on feedback and performance.
* Prepare BOMs, fabrication drawings, and technical documentation.
* Coordinate with production, quality, and project teams for smooth execution.
* Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety requirements.
Key Skills & Requirements
* Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Mechanical Design.
* Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (mandatory).
* Knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and material selection.
* Good understanding of assemblies, sheet metal, and fabrication design.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in product/machinery design.
- Exposure to other CAD tools will be an added advantage.
