Summary

We seek a talented UI Designer to join Datarock, playing a key role in transforming how we manage geoscientific data. You will create visually engaging, intuitive user interfaces for our digital products, ensuring a seamless experience for users and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Create visually stunning, intuitive, and user-friendly products that ensure an elegant design and exceptional user experience.
• Collaborate with product and development teams throughout the design process to maintain consistency and quality.
• Design and maintain reusable UI components, contributing to a cohesive design system following best practices.
• Prepare and deliver digital assets ready for implementation.
• Optimize designs for visual appeal and functionality across various screen sizes and devices.

Qualifications/Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a UI Designer with a proven record of delivering high-quality, user-friendly designs.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for creating visually compelling designs.
• Good understanding of UX principles to guide visual design.
• Experience working in an agile environment and applying user-centered design methodologies.
• Ability to transform wireframes into visually striking designs with a creative mindset.
• Strong knowledge of design fundamentals, including colour, typography, and layout.
• Experience creating style guides and design systems, with knowledge of atomic design principles.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and a commitment to inclusive design.
• Ability to balance creativity with business and technical constraints.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
