Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Multimedia Designer to join our dynamic Marketing team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in bringing our brand story and product narratives to life through captivating motion graphics and animations.
Responsibilities:
Motion Design (Primary Focus):
Lead the conceptualization and creation of engaging motion graphics and animations for diverse channels, including social media, website, product demos, explainer videos, marketing campaigns, and internal communications.
Develop detailed storyboards, animatics, and style frames to effectively communicate motion concepts and timelines.
Masterfully apply animation principles (timing, spacing, easing, anticipation, etc.) to create fluid, dynamic, and impactful visual storytelling.
Ensure all motion graphics are meticulously aligned with brand guidelines, messaging, and strategic objectives.
Optimize motion graphics for seamless playback across various platforms and devices, considering file sizes and formats.
Stay at the forefront of motion design trends, techniques, and technologies, proactively bringing innovative ideas to the team.
Graphic Design (Supporting Role):
Design visually appealing and effective static marketing materials that complement our motion-first approach, including social media static posts, presentation templates, infographics, and occasional print collateral.
Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of brand guidelines, ensuring a cohesive visual identity across all static and dynamic assets.
Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project requirements and ensure visual consistency with motion design elements.
Present design concepts and incorporate feedback constructively.
Ensure static designs are user-friendly and optimized for their intended platform.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely and iteratively with marketing managers, content writers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of motion and static visuals with overall marketing strategies.
Clearly and persuasively communicate motion design concepts, rationale, and timelines.
Be proactive in seeking and providing constructive feedback.
Effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Motion Graphics, Animation, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field with a strong emphasis on motion.
Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrable experience as a Motion Designer, with a compelling portfolio heavily featuring animation and motion graphics work, alongside examples of static design.
Expert proficiency in industry-standard motion design software:
Adobe After Effects (essential)
Adobe Premiere Pro (essential for basic video editing and integration)
Strong proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software:
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Figma or similar UI/UX design tools (advantageous)
Deep understanding of animation principles, visual storytelling, and motion design best practices.
Solid grasp of graphic design fundamentals, including typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
Excellent visual communication and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and motion aesthetics.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design ideas effectively.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple motion-centric projects.
