A National Sales Manager for Pharma testing services has a range of key responsibilities that involve managing sales operations, building relationships, and ensuring the company's services meet market demands. Primary responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement nationwide sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Oversee the sales team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Identify and secure new clients in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, research organizations, healthcare providers and nutraceutical sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including QC Managers, R&D Managers, and Purchase Managers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for high-value clients and strategic partnerships.
Team Management:
- Lead, motivate and manage the sales team to enhance performance and productivity.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
Market Analysis & Business Development:
- Identify and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities and areas for expansion.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design promotional campaigns and strategies that align with sales objectives.
Operational Excellence:
- Manage Profit & Loss (P&L) for the testing services division.
- Monitor sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Compliance & Quality:
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Innovation & Growth:
- Drive innovation in sales approaches to differentiate the company in the TIC industry.
- Explore new service offerings and market segments to sustain growth.
- Promote ethical sales practices and maintain high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree (Preferably in Chemistry) and MBA in Marketing
- 15+ yrs of relevant experience in a Public Testing Lab(PTL).
