We are seeking an experienced OFCI Manager to oversee the procurement, coordination, delivery, and installation of OFCI equipment for a high-profile data center project in France.
You will act as the key interface between the client, equipment vendors, design teams, and construction contractors to ensure seamless integration of OFCI scope into the broader construction schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the complete OFCI process, from planning and procurement to site delivery and installation.
- Coordinate with design teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure technical compatibility and timely integration of OFCI equipment.
- Track progress of vendor manufacturing, factory acceptance testing (FAT), logistics, and site commissioning.
- Support and manage HVAC integration within the OFCI scope (e.g., CRAC units, air handlers, chillers, etc.).
- Review and approve technical submittals, data sheets, shop drawings, and method statements related to OFCI scope.
- Ensure proper alignment between OFCI deliveries and construction milestones to avoid delays and cost overruns.
- Identify and resolve any interface issues between contractor-installed systems and OFCI packages.
- Implement and enforce site safety, environmental and quality standards during OFCI equipment handling and installation.
- Report regularly to the Project Manager and Client Representative on OFCI progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Oversee QA/QC documentation and commissioning activities in conjunction with vendors and commissioning agents.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in HVAC/MEP engineering and site management roles within Data Center, Oil & Gas, or Industrial projects.
- Recent experience as OFCI Manager or similar on a hyperscale data center project is essential.
- Strong technical background in HVAC and mechanical systems, particularly in installation and commissioning.
- Proven ability to manage vendor packages, FATs, logistics, and interface with multiple project stakeholders.
