Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair MFPs and resolve customer printing issues
- Maintain effective relationships with customers and sales
- Perform on-site service of MFPs,
- Maintain parts and call management as well as accurate records to achieve KPI targets
- Responsible to learn new technologies
- Maintain accurate record keeping
- Lead product advocate meetings
- 10% - Lead referrals, assists with customer assessments and solution design
- 90% - break-fix and customer support
- Uses fleet reporting to influence and improve territory parts, budget and inventory control
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management
Skills:
Experience Required:
- 5+ Years
- Install and troubleshoot complex printing and scanning solutions
- Microsoft OS and MAC OS peer to peer and client side of server environments
- Knowledgeable with printing from common business apps and graphics programs
Solutions Knowledge:
- Good understanding of solutions portfolio including user level application knowledge
Product Knowledge:
- Deep Knowledge on full product line. KM certification preferable
Color Skills:
- Expert knowledge of color theory, calibration, and RIP configurations
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written skills, mentoring and coaching abilities
Mentor and Instruct:
- 30% - based on technical expertise
- Provides guidance to peers on customer interactions – communication, professionalism, job
- knowledge and self-development
- Mentors the team and shares knowledge both formally and informally
Pre/Post Consulting:
- On occasion, perform scope of work creation and follow through
Requirements:
- Must be positive, outgoing, self-motivated and committed to building and maintaining strong customer relations
- Own vehicle and possess valid insurance with appropriate coverage and a valid drivers’ license in good standing
- Standby and afterhours work may be required
- Training may require afterhours travel and stay overs including weekends
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management
Business Travel:
- Travel within assigned territory, some out of territory work
- Travelling within Canada and the US is a requirement. Candidate must provide & maintain valid travel documents at own expense
Konica Minolta Certifications:
- Required to achieve Master Level Certification
Education:
- Electronics/Technical degree preferred
Industry Certifications:
- CompTIA A+ Certification CompTIA Net+ Certification
- CompTIA CDIA+ Certification
- Microsoft OS
- MCP or MCITP Certification (or equivalent experience)
