About The Role
Position - Operation Manager - Safety Engineering (Electrical Engineering)
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead safety initiatives across our sites in India. This role demands a strong technical foundation in electrical engineering and safety management, with a focus on enhancing safety standards in electrical systems, machinery, and industrial processes.
Responsibilities
- Safety Leadership: Drive and oversee safety operations across all sites, ensuring compliance with national and international safety regulations.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert for electrical safety, machine safety, and process safety, offering hands-on guidance and solutions.
- Risk Management: Conduct thorough safety audits, hazard identification, and risk assessments, followed by actionable recommendations.
- Training & Capacity Building: Design and deliver safety training programs tailored to site-specific needs, fostering a culture of safety awareness.
- Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safety procedures, incidents, and corrective actions, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate existing safety systems and implement improvements to enhance operational safety and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with site teams, engineering departments, and external agencies to align safety goals and practices.
Qualifications
- B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- Diploma in Safety Engineering
Required Skills
- Minimum 15 years of experience in safety operations, preferably in industrial or engineering environments.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with machine and process safety standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
