Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinic Manager to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical office management and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of healthcare practices, fiscal management, and regulatory compliance to ensure the clinic operates efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient workflow.
- Manage clinic staff, including hiring, training, and supervising employees to foster a productive work environment.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures in compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant healthcare standards.
- Coordinate financial management activities, including billing, management of claims, and resource allocation.
- Ensure accurate medical records management using EMR/EHR systems such as KIPU.
- Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement in patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize client care delivery and manage utilization effectively.
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO standards and other regulatory bodies while ensuring best practices in clinical operations.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including managing schedules, overseeing billing processes, and addressing patient inquiries.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical office management or clinic administration is essential; behavioral health clinic experience is a plus.
- Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Familiarity with fiscal management principles including budgeting and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, records management, and healthcare regulations (HIPAA).
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems; proficiency in KIPU is preferred.
- Background in addiction/mental health or acute care settings is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Prior experience in human resources functions related to recruitment, training, and performance management is beneficial.
