JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage and execute all payroll-related activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing employee pay, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate payroll records. This role requires strong analytical skills, confidentiality, and a thorough understanding of payroll best practices.
Key Responsibilities

Process weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.

Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, time worked, and pay rates.

Calculate wages, deductions, benefits, bonuses, and taxes.

Prepare and distribute paychecks or arrange for direct deposits.

Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.

Prepare payroll reports for internal use and external audits.

Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies.

Liaise with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee compensation.

Stay current on changes in payroll laws and regulations.

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Proven experience in payroll processing (2+ years)
