Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Product Designer (Lead) based in Chennai. The Product Designer (Lead) will oversee the design and development of user-centered product solutions, ensuring a balance of functionality and aesthetics. Daily responsibilities include conducting user research, following design thinking methodologies, developing product designs, visual design, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results. This role requires both leadership and collaboration to align designs with organizational goals and user needs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Visual Design and creating aesthetic, functional interfaces
- Experience with Design Thinking methodologies to solve complex problems
- Strong skills in User Research and UX Research to gather insights and inform design decisions
- Expertise in Product Design, including prototyping and iterative development
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Familiarity with Agile development processes is a plus
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
