About Monk Commerce:
We're a lean, high-performing team of 25, passionate about creating innovative B2B software products from India for a global audience. As a Product designer, you'll be a crucial part of our central engine, driving our app’s design and shaping the future of our platform.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end design of dashboards and workflows for our Shopify-based B2B SaaS product.
- Collaborate with product managers to discover and create high-value user experiences and designs that help achieve business goals.
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and design specs using Figma
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems across products.
- Go through different quantitative and qualitative data sources to gauge customer issues.
- Present design rationale, facilitate design reviews, and communicate effectively with product managers and engineers.
- Mentor junior designers and advocate for design best practices within the team.
- Stay updated on Shopify trends, SaaS UX patterns, and accessibility standards.
We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a product designer. (This contains only full time work, no internships)
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Strong UX and visual design skills; demonstrated ability to simplify complex workflows.
- Experience creating, scaling, and maintaining design systems.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design, and product strategy.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile product environment.
- Bonus: Experience in Shopify app ecosystem or e-commerce platforms.
- Bonus: Portfolio consisting of a relevant dashboard or SaaS work
