Position Overview:
InCred Value Plus is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to drive the growth of the IFA (Independent Financial Advisor) and distributor channel network. The ideal candidate will manage product platforms for sub-brokers, communicate product recommendations, negotiate with product manufacturers, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maximize product opportunities. This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of financial products and the ability to create a market-leading product pipeline tailored for sub-brokers. The candidate will work closely with the Wealth Products team, AMCs, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and adapt product platforms for the sub-broker network, ensuring optimal product access and management.
- Track market trends and create a product pipeline with high-potential offerings for the sub-broker platform.
- Lead negotiations with AMCs and product manufacturers to secure competitive brokerage structures.
- Collaborate with the Wealth Products team to finalize mutually beneficial agreements.
- Identify and present product opportunities within the InCred Group to the sub-broker network.
- Coordinate with Marketing and external agencies to create and disseminate product communication materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- 8-12 years of experience in product management within the wealth management, mutual fund distribution, or financial services sector, particularly with experience in handling IFA or distributor networks.
- Proven experience in negotiating brokerage rates with product manufacturers, AMCs, or similar entities.
- Strong capability to analyse market trends and product opportunities, translating them into actionable strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to a varied audience.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams (Marketing, Wealth Products, Operations) and external stakeholders (AMCs, distribution channels).
