Role: Seating Project Engineer
Required Technical Skill Set: Catia V5/V6, seating system development
Desired Experience Range: 7-12 Yrs
Location: Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in seating system development or interior component engineering.
- Strong understanding of materials, mechanisms, and occupant comfort principles
- Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA V5/ V6) and PLM systems.
- Excellent communication and project leadership skills.
- A degree in a relevant engineering discipline, such as Mechanical, Automobile, or Product design, is typically required
- Good understanding of project management, commodity planning, system weight and cost management.
- Familiarity with seat safety systems (e.g., airbags, sensors, ISOFIX).
- Experience with premium vehicle programs and luxury interior design.
- Knowledge of global standards (FMVSS, UN-ECE, Euro NCAP).
- Ability to work across multiple sites and manage complex supplier relationships.
