Role: Seating Project Engineer
Required Technical Skill Set: Catia V5/V6, seating system development
Desired Experience Range: 7-12 Yrs
Location: Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities:
Experience in seating system development or interior component engineering.
Strong understanding of materials, mechanisms, and occupant comfort principles
Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA V5/ V6) and PLM systems.
Excellent communication and project leadership skills.
A degree in a relevant engineering discipline, such as Mechanical, Automobile, or Product design, is typically required
Good understanding of project management, commodity planning, system weight and cost management.
Familiarity with seat safety systems (e.g., airbags, sensors, ISOFIX).
Experience with premium vehicle programs and luxury interior design.
Knowledge of global standards (FMVSS, UN-ECE, Euro NCAP).
Ability to work across multiple sites and manage complex supplier relationships.
