I talked to the owner and hiring managers for this role yesterday, and they're looking for someone who's tired of working 50 hour weeks as a contractor and is ready for a 40 hour work week with a consistent schedule. This company offers all the normal stuff that a good job normally does (401k with match, healthcare, PTO). Plus, they provide performance bonuses, profit sharing, and employees work from home on Friday. What they're looking for: Someone with 5 years experience in construction who also has critical path method (CPM) scheduling experience. If you're a Primavera P6 wizard, that will make you stand out (make sure to list it in your resume). I've included more info on the day-to-day responsibilities below. If this is you, apply now! Position Overview I'm looking for a detail-oriented and organized Project Scheduler to join this team. The Project Scheduler will work closely with the client's team to facilitate efficient project execution and resource allocation. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6. Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders as required to gather information and update project timelines. Analyze the critical path of projects and ensure that deadlines are met. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them promptly. Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders, detailing milestones and deliverables. Utilize strong communication skills to foster collaboration among team members and stakeholders. Solve scheduling-related problems as they arise, employing effective problem-solving techniques. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as a Project Scheduler in construction or oil and gas Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project exp Strong understanding of the critical path method (CPM) and resource allocation techniques.
