Role Overview:
We’re looking for a sharp Property Accountant who owns accuracy and can run the numbers across our property portfolio. You’ll handle bank reconciliations, A/P & A/R, payroll entries, credit card reconciling, monthly financial statements, budget support and partner with operations to keep our books clean and timely.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage day-to-day accounting for assigned properties.
- Perform monthly close, bank/credit-card reconciliations, A/P, A/R, and payroll entries.
- Prepare and review monthly financials and budget/trend variances.
- Assist with ad-hoc analysis.
- Read and interpret rental agreements, addenda, budget reports, and financial statements.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally in property management.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and property-management software (AppFolio/Yardi).
- Excellent attention to detail, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communicator and able to work independently and as part of the team.
- Spanish bilingual a plus.
