We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with strong experience in PySpark to join one of our international projects. This role is fully remote, but the professional must be based in Portugal.
Work model: 100% Remote (from Portugal)
Start date: Immediately
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust backend solutions using Python and PySpark
- Lead the investigation and resolution of complex technical issues
- Work closely with international teams and third-party providers
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices
- Collaborate on solution design and technical documentation
- Participate in the optimization of systems, processes, and data pipelines
- Use Airflow for workflow orchestration and Snowflake for complex queries
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in backend development with Python
- Strong proficiency in PySpark or similar big data frameworks
- Solid knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
- Proficiency in Snowflake and complex SQL queries
- Knowledge of Airflow
- Fluent in English (min. B2); Portuguese is a plus
