Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with development, design, and product teams to understand requirements and define clear test strategies.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across web and mobile platforms.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks for web and API testing.
- Identify, log, and track bugs and issues using defect management tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Execute and maintain automated regression test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct API testing and validate data integrity through Postman / Rest Assured.
- Work closely with the QA Lead and DevOps teams to support continuous integration and delivery.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, automation coverage, and test documentation.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
Manual Testing:
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
- Expertise in writing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and traceability matrices.
- Experience in functional, regression, and system testing.
- Hands-on experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
Automation Testing:
- Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver using Java / Python.
- Knowledge of TestNG / JUnit frameworks.
- Experience in API testing using Postman or Rest Assured.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Good understanding of version control systems (Git / GitHub / Bitbucket).
- Ability to build or enhance automation frameworks (Data-driven, Hybrid, or POM).
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter / LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of database testing using SQL queries.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure).
- Basic understanding of mobile app testing (Android / iOS).
