Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Tester with 3–5 years of experience in software testing, along with knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.  The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in manual testing methodologies, test case creation, defect reporting, and knowledge of insurance business workflows. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web-based insurance applications through thorough functional and regression testing.

Key Responsibilities

Understand business requirements and insurance workflows to create detailed and effective test cases

Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing for web and/or policy administration applications

Validate P&C insurance use cases, consumer warranty insurance, including policy lifecycle, claims, endorsements, and billing

Collaborate with business analysts and developers to clarify requirements and resolve issues

Log, track, and verify defects using tools like Jira or similar defect tracking systems

Execute test cases, document results, and maintain test artifacts in alignment with QA processes

Participate in test planning, estimation, and sprint ceremonies in an Agile environment

Contribute to maintaining test data and documentation for audits and future references

Required Skills & Qualifications

3–5 years of QA experience in QA

Strong experience inWeb and PWA application testing

Good understanding ofProperty & Casualty insurance workflows (e.g.,consumer warranty insurance,  policy lifecycle, claims, billing)

Have experience in multiple device and browser testing.

Proficient in writing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements

Experience withtest management tools like Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar

Solid experience in defect tracking, root cause analysis, and test closure reporting

Familiarity withAgile/Scrum and participation in sprint ceremonies

Basic understanding of front-end technologies for effective collaboration (HTML, CSS, browser dev tools)

Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of the P&C domain

Experience in API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools

Knowledge of performance or security testing tools is a plus

ISTQB or other QA certifications

Soft Skills

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle time-sensitive deliverables

Requirements

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.

Previous experience working as a react.js developer.

In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, ECMAScript(ES), ES6,CSS, HTML, and front-end languages

Experience in REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.

Experience with user interface design.

Experience with Json based configuration into the React Components.

Knowledge of performance testing frameworks, including Mocha and Jest.

Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.

Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Good project management skills.
