Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our product development team. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for testing software products manually and/or through automation, identifying bugs, and ensuring our applications meet high standards of usability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
- Design and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs thoroughly.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand features and technical implementation.
- Participate in agile/scrum processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, etc. (if applicable).
- Ensure timely delivery of quality releases.
- Suggest improvements to enhance product quality and user experience.
Required Skills :
- Proven experience as a QA Tester, Software Tester, or similar role.
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Basic understanding of databases and ability to write SQL queries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
