We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing our websites, forms, and mobile applications to ensure high-quality user experiences. You'll work closely with developers and other team members to identify issues, validate requirements, and help improve our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct manual testing for web and mobile applications to identify bugs, usability issues, and inconsistencies.
- Test application forms including validation rules, field formatting, error messages, and field behavior (mandatory fields, dropdowns, radio buttons, checkboxes, etc.).
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide constructive feedback.
- Log, track, and manage defects in the issue-tracking system.
- Document test results clearly and prepare reports for stakeholders.
- Assist in designing and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and product quality.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies (manual, functional, regression).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Understanding of web and mobile platforms, browsers, and testing across devices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for quality and improving user experience.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Exposure to automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
- Knowledge of Agile development processes.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python) to assist in writing test scripts and understanding code.
- Familiarity with security testing and identifying vulnerabilities.
