Role & Responsibilities:
Quality Control
- Inspect and test all materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Review codes, work orders, specifications, and processes to implement quality standards and control systems at site.
- Continuously improve construction quality by identifying and introducing better-quality materials;
ensure proper checking of shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, etc. - Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformities, prepare reports, and collaborate with relevant teams for resolution.
- Ensure thorough checks of all RMC-related activities (slump, temperature, batch sheet, cube testing, etc.).
- Conduct regular observations and ensure compliance with approved methodology for NCRs/observations.
- Monitor and analyse quality performance at site to ensure adherence to IS standards.
- Conduct plant and external lab visits for witness testing.
Process & Policies
- Collaborate with site teams and departments to enhance overall quality at site.
- Adhere to established quality processes and continuously seek improvements.
- Create quality awareness across teams through effective communication and training.
Documentation
- Maintain proper document control at site in line with ISO procedures.
- Ensure checklist records, inspection records, lab reports, cube registers, and rework/rejection records are maintained.
- Ensure compliance and documentation to avoid ISO penalties.
- Prepare corrective and preventive action reports and other quality-related documents.
Self & Team Development
- Attend technical and behavioral training programs/seminars sponsored by the company.
- Proactively engage in self-learning and upskilling.
- Train and develop site-level quality teams to build capability.
