Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
- Plan, conduct, and manage internal audits across all departments, ensuring compliance and identifying systemic improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and maintain factory readiness for customer audits, third-party audits (IATF, ISO), and VDA 6.3 assessments.
- Act as the primary interface for customer quality system audits and external auditors, ensuring professional and transparent engagement.
- Lead the digitization of quality systems by transforming manual processes into automated, traceable, and efficient workflows.
- Own QMS documentation and records control, ensuring timely updates, global alignment, and audit-ready traceability.
- Lead or support root cause investigations and ensure effective closure of CAPAs related to quality system deficiencies or audit findings.
- Coordinate Management Review Meetings and report on QMS performance using defined KPIs and risk-based metrics. Support supplier quality assurance processes where applicable, including system audits or compliance reviews.
- Mentor cross-functional teams on auditing, compliance, customer-specific requirements, and quality culture development.
- Stay abreast of evolving automotive quality standards and proactively adapt the QMS to maintain compliance and competitiveness.
- Collaborate with senior management to define plant-level quality objectives and strategic improvement initiatives.
Skills:
- Certified IATF 16949 Internal Auditor
- Strong knowledge of VDA 6.3 process audit methodology
- Proficient in Quality Management Systems (QMS) implementation and maintenance
- Hands-on experience in Customer Audits, Internal Audits, and Documentation Control
- Ability to conduct quality training sessions for crossfunctional teams
- Familiarity with automotive quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA
- Excellent understanding of quality standards in the automotive interior’s domain
- Strong English communication, analytical, and problemsolving skills
Experience: 8+ Years of experience in Automotive Industry; preference for candidates with experience in interiors components.
Qualifications: B.E./ B. Tech in Mechanical/ Automotive/ Industrial Engineering or Similar
