Quality management System
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Make sure ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements followed throughout all the process activities.
- Plan and perform Supplier second party Audits.
- The Internal Audit Program (Audit Schedule, arranging and carrying out internal Quality Audits), arranging consequential Corrective and Preventive actions.
- Control non-conformances, Corrective actions and Preventive actions.
- Liaison with Quality System Certification Bodies and other external organizations and people on all activities relating to the Quality Management System.
- Liaison with BIS Certification Bodies and other external organizations and people on all activities relating to the Aluminium Extrusion profiles, parts and raw material.
- Ensure that the processes needed for the Quality Management System are established, implemented and maintained.
- Ensures the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the Company.
- Visiting customers as and when required.
- Review of departmental objectives listed in QMS system
- Handling of customer complaints with effective CP, PFMEA, CAPA, 8 D, other quality tools.
- Imparting on Job Training to Engineers, supervisors and workers as per the SOPs.
- Inter/intra department communication.
- Handling various process, product and system audits.
- Handling of customer rejection return with effective control mechanism.
- Able to prepare required documentations like PPAP, APQP, CSR, ECN, SPC, MSA, rejection data in PPM, for customers and internal system.
- Assisting in activities related to continual improvement
- Quality Action plan of Corrective and Preventive actions related to customer complaints and internal NCRs.
- Handling third party, customers audit
- Additional helping hands to audits for ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
- Helping hand to the HOD for getting the things done on time as part of action plan and continual improvement.
Qualification:
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering/Metallurgical.
- High level of IT skill, particularly MS-Office.
- Exposer of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and its implementation
- Exposure to ERP or similar environment is mandatory
- Good communication skills & fluency in English.
- A minimum of 10+ years of work experience in the tier 1/2 automotive industry
