Job Summary
Omni Consulting Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled and specialized
Recruiter
to drive our talent acquisition efforts. This role is critical to the firm's success, focusing on sourcing, assessing, and hiring engineering, CQV, and quality professionals for both our consulting engagements and our various talent solutions models (staff augmentation, temp-to-perm, and SOW projects).
The ideal candidate will possess deep recruitment experience within the
life science, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries
and a strong understanding of technical roles, particularly within
cGMP environments
. You will act as a talent consultant, ensuring we deliver on our promise to be the next-generation partner providing total talent solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Total Talent Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruiting lifecycle to secure highly niche talent for all of Omni's service lines:
- Engineering & Technical Roles: Source experts in CQV, Validation, Process Engineering, Automation, Utilities, and Facilities.
- Quality & Compliance Roles: Recruit professionals in Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Regulatory Affairs.
- Consulting & Project Roles: Identify and place consultants for SOW-based managed services and staff augmentation across client sites.
- Specialized Sourcing & Pipeline Development: Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to identify and attract passive candidates with essential life science and technical skills (e.g., cGMP experience, specific software or equipment validation expertise). Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for immediate and future needs across permanent, contract, and temp-to-perm models.
- Engagement & Relationship Management: Build strong, long-term relationships with a network of high-caliber engineers, quality professionals, and consultants. Effectively communicate Omni's unique value proposition as a woman and minority-owned firm offering innovative talent solutions.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate closely with Omni's leadership and project managers to understand the technical requirements and cultural fit for client projects, ensuring successful placements for staff augmentation and SOW engagements.
- Market & Compensation Intelligence: Maintain a keen awareness of industry salary benchmarks, market trends, and competitive forces specific to CQV, engineering, and quality roles in the life sciences sector.
- ATS Management & Compliance: Ensure data integrity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards relevant to the recruitment process.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: (3-5)+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with a mandatory focus on the life science, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industries.
- Expertise: Demonstrated ability to recruit for highly technical roles, specifically in areas such as Validation, Commissioning, Automation Engineering, Process Engineering, Utilities, and cGMP Quality/Compliance.
- Recruitment Model Understanding: Prior experience recruiting for Bio-pharma consulting is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical, scientific, or business-related field.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical roles and Omni's diverse service offerings.
- Sourcing: Proven track record using advanced sourcing techniques and tools (e.g., niche job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, industry networking).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working for an engineering consulting firm, CRO, or specialized life science staffing agency.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as FDA, EMA, and ISO standards.
- Active professional network within the CQV, Engineering, or Quality communities.
