About the Role
FX Shoulder Solutions, a world leader in innovative shoulder arthroplasty solutions, is seeking a
New England Regional Sales Manager
to drive sales growth, manage distributor and direct sales teams, and expand market presence in New England (CT/MA/ME/NH/RI/VT). This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans while providing clinical expertise and support for the full FX product portfolio.
The Regional Manager will be accountable for meeting or exceeding sales goals, developing strong surgeon, distributor and representative relationships, and ensuring alignment with FX's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to sales distributors and direct representatives to ensure strong sales performance.
- Develop and execute regional sales plans, drive forecasting, and identify key growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and surgeons to support product development, education, and adoption.
- Lead business planning, report regularly on performance, and create action plans to address underperformance.
- Deliver product training, demonstrations, and technical expertise for sales teams and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory standards while reinforcing FX Shoulder's core values.
- Manage required reporting including sales results, expense reports, and market activity.
- Act as a regional ambassador at national and regional meetings, exhibitions, and educational events.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Candidates must reside within the territory.
- 3–5 years proven success in B2B sales, preferably in medical devices.
- 3+ years of successful management experience.
- Medical device sales experience required; OR and orthopedic sales background strongly preferred (shoulder market experience preferred).
- Ability to work in an operating room environment and stand for long periods.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Strong knowledge of the sales cycle with ability to articulate and apply strategies across all product areas.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to coach and motivate teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; strong ability in reporting and expense management.
