Job DescriptionTo supervise, lead and coordinate the Reports Production & Quality team to ensure the accuracy and quality of medical reports.
- Lead the RPQ team which is responsible for undertaking the production and quality reviews of medical reports.
- Provide oversight and technical support to a team of enthusiastic and driven individuals.
- Be a point of escalation for the RPQ team, consultant or customer for any issues or concerns arising.
- Maintain and regularly review the standard of quality reports produced.
- Develop, review and update the various policies, processes, procedures and tools associated with the defined quality framework.
- Ensure quality processes are up to date with current customer and legislative requirements and effectively communicate to the RPQ team and consultants.
- Manage corrective action, process improvement and auditing projects.
- Coordinate the training of RPQ team and consultants.
- Management of medical report feedback.
- Maintain the high standard and reputation of Next Health, as a competitive market leader in the WA/SA/NT market.
- Assist with initiatives driven by Next Health and the MedHealth Group.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- In conjunction with the Operations Manager and/or General Manager, determine, coordinate and implement the induction & onboarding, skills development and training requirements of team members (if applicable) when required.
- Assist the Operations Manager and/or General Manager in the development, coordination and implementation of performance planning, performance management and performance evaluation and feedback (if applicable).
- Improve administrative processes in support of organisation goals.
- Assign, supervise, evaluate and also undertake the daily activities of the reports production and quality assurance teams (if applicable) to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency in accordance with designated Next Health processes, standards and protocols.
- Coordinate and manage special requests/reports/projects.
- Participate and/or lead monthly team meetings to identify/discuss/deal with issues, opportunities and training and developmental needs.
- Document and update operational training manuals and procedures as required.
- Experience in understanding practices relating to independent medical reports within a personal injury and/or accident compensation setting.
- Experience in coordinating and delivering a range of high quality, customer-focused business administration support.
- Experience with accurately formulating Permanent Impairment assessments.
- Ability to effectively assist challenging consultants, customers, clients or visitors.
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
- Capacity to demonstrate resilience when faced with challenging matters.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills while maintaining a flexibility to operate in an environment of change and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a group environment.
- Ability to work harmoniously with a diverse group of stakeholders.
