Role Overview
The Retail Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, reporting, and analysis for the retail operations, ensuring accurate accounting, compliance, and data-driven financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all retail financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management for strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Collaborate with merchandising, supply chain, and store teams to optimize costs and improve profitability.
- Monitor cash flow, sales, and expenses across retail operations.
- Implement financial controls, systems, and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare management reports, KPI dashboards, and business insights.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in retail finance, preferably in apparel/fashion.
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA is a plus.
