National Account Manager
AED & Training Programs

Safetymax helps businesses prepare and respond to emergency situations that can affect their people and property. Our solution includes sales and service plans for first aid supplies, AEDs, emergency training and related products and services. We serve a national clientele and our customers are large, high profile businesses.
Job Summary:
Our typical customer has many business locations throughout the U.S. Your primary responsibility would be to maintain and grow our AED service business and drive training sales by identifying gaps and providing solutions to our customers at the national level. You would be working very closely with people who manage office buildings, other company facilities and Safetymax’s internal operations team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and grow our AED program management subscriptions ensuring accurate, on time renewals.
- Increase training program sales. In particular, CPR, FA & AED classes as well as building evacuation and related fire, life and safety consulting services.
- Lead the account onboarding, planning and business review process with the primary goal of building strong, strategic relationships with clients to drive retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth.
- Identify key client stakeholders and present AED and training solutions at the national level.
- Respond to request for quotes and proposal for AED equipment, training programs and related products and services. Follow up to close.
- Identify opportunities to grow business within existing accounts.
- Upsell and cross-sell products or services to clients.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals
- Address client issues putting them in touch with other team members who can solve issues.
Experience Required:
- 3 years account management experience in corporate sales environment.
- 1 year budgets and order processing experience
- 3 years quoting and proposal creation in B2B environment.
- Previous CPR, FA & AED Certification.
- 3 years using a CRM as a requirement of the job to track client relationships, opportunities and tasks.
- 3 years in role where you regularly made recommendations that changed the status quo.
- 3 years high volume scheduling and leading Zoom, Teams, Webex, etc. online meetings
- Sold both products and services
- 4 year college preferred
Skills required:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, Outlook and technology in general
- Strong follow up
- Resourceful
- Natural ability to identify and solve problems.
- Ability to think quick on your feet and overcome objections
- Relationship building skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organization skills
