In this role, you will join the Amadeus Hey! Team within Nexwave, the Amadeus Business Incubator that develops disruptive new travel industry businesses. We focus on innovation, manage high uncertainty, and foster an intrapreneurial mindset.
Our mission is to empower brands to engage with travelers through personalized and contextual interactions that delight, foster loyalty, and promote growth.
You will be part of a fast-growing team building this new business at startup speed, within Amadeus, a leading global travel tech company.
Key Responsibilities
We seek a dynamic, results-oriented Sales & Business Development Manager to drive growth across new and existing markets, foster strategic partnerships, and advance our initiatives.
As a hunter, you will independently identify and secure new business opportunities, managing customer engagements from initial contact to contract signing to positively impact revenue.
Sales
- Open new markets such as APAC and expand in META and EUROPE regions.
- Identify and capture new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Market and Regional Accounts to generate leads.
- Own customer engagement from start to contract, coordinating with internal teams (Account Management and pre-sales).
- Promote and sell solutions through direct contacts, events, and roadshows.
- Deliver sales presentations to senior management and demonstrate products.
- Participate in RFP/RFI responses and follow-ups as needed.
- Coordinate contract negotiations with involved teams.
- Maintain CRM data and generate sales reports.
- Work independently following management directives.
- Coordinate teams or projects and serve as a best practices resource.
Business Development
- Manage multiple initiatives in a start-up environment.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for Amadeus Hey!
- Participate in strategic projects.
- Collaborate with regional and internal teams to understand priorities.
- Monitor industry trends.
- Provide feedback to Marketing and Product teams to ensure solutions meet market needs.
Relevant Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- 8+ years’ experience in B2B tech sales/business development.
- Experience in team leadership is a plus.
- Knowledge of the travel industry.
- Consultative sales experience valued.
- Willingness to travel.
