Hiring a hands-on Sales Manager who has actually built D2C website & calling sales from scratch — hire, train and run a small team, own web → call → reorder funnels and deliver predictable weekly revenue.
What you'll own
- Build, hire and manage a 2–8 person sales & calling team (telesales, BDEs, ops).
- Own day-to-day website revenue flows: cart rescue, click-to-call, consult bookings, managed checkouts.
- Run CRO experiments, product page tests, pricing/bundle experiments and small paid+organic funnel tests.
- Design & monitor simple CRM sequences, reminder flows (WhatsApp / SMS), and email recovery (Klaviyo/basic flows).
- Set weekly revenue targets, track CAC/AOV/conversion and report to Head of Revenue.
- Create playbooks, scripts and SOPs for lead qualification, closing, returns and handoffs to CX/ops.
- Coach reps with daily huddles, call reviews and rapid retraining during peaks.
- Own short-term hiring, onboarding, incentive execution and basic forecasting.
Must-have (non-negotiable)
- 4–8 years in D2C / e-commerce / B2C sales with
evidence of building website + calling sales processes from zero
(must present one concrete example). - Comfortable on the phone — has closed consultative and transactional sales personally.
- Hands-on with Shopify (or similar), GA4 / Shopify analytics and basic reporting (Excel/Sheets).
- Experience running CRO or landing page experiments and simple A/B test thinking.
- Experience hiring, training and managing a small team (roster, 1:1s, weekly targets).
- Strong operational bias: can QA packs/orders, escalate fulfillment issues, coordinate with logistics.
- Honest, gritty operator who will jump into calls during peaks.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with CRMs.
- Worked in gifting, jewelry/gemstones, spiritual/ritual items or festival peak seasons.
- Comfortable writing short WhatsApp/marketing flows and basic copy for cart recovery.
