Our client is an emerging player in the sports and entertainment tech space, building a subscription-based platform that delivers premium insights, data, and community-driven content for bettors and handicappers.
They're seeking an experienced
Sales Manager
with a deep background in
sports betting or handicapping
to lead growth and revenue initiatives. This is a high-impact role for someone ready to shape strategy, drive performance, and build meaningful partnerships across the betting community.
Responsibilities
• Drive subscription growth and retention through direct sales and partnerships
• Build relationships with bettors, handicappers, affiliates, and media partners
• Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the betting market
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams on acquisition and retention
• Track key metrics and ensure revenue targets are met
• Hire, mentor, and lead a small team as the company scales
Requirements
• 3–5+ years of experience in sports betting, handicapping, or a closely related industry
• Proven success in sales, business development, or partnership roles
• Strong understanding of subscription-based or SaaS-style sales models
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
