Position Overview

The Sales Manager will lead sales initiatives across multiple channels, including government, distribution, and direct retail, driving growth and strengthening relationships with agencies, dealers, and key accounts. This role requires a dynamic, hands-on leader with strong business acumen, exceptional relationship management skills, and the ability to execute strategies that align with our company's aggressive growth goals.

The Sales Manager will work on-site at our Swansboro, NC headquarters, collaborating closely with our VP of Sales & Marketing, operations, customer service, and e-business teams to achieve excellence across all sales functions.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and margin goals across all brands.

· Lead, coach, and motivate the inside and outside sales and customer service teams to exceed sales objectives and maintain strong customer relationships.

· Manage national and regional accounts including government, distribution, and direct agency contracts.

· Partner with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with product launches and promotional campaigns.

· Analyze sales performance data to identify growth opportunities.

· Represent High Speed Gear at trade shows and industry events (e.g., SHOT Show, AUSA, IACP) to promote brand visibility and strengthen relationships.

· Collaborate cross-functionally to improve sales operations, order flow, and customer satisfaction.

· Ensure compliance with all company policies, government regulations, and contractual requirements (Berry Compliance, GSA/MAS, etc.).

Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in the tactical gear, holster, or defense manufacturing industry.

· Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.

· Strong understanding of government contracting, distribution networks, and dealer programs.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

· Highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable with CRM and ERP systems (experience with Microsoft D365 preferred).

· Ability to travel domestically for trade shows, customer visits, and account management (approx. 10–20%).
