Power Lodge is seeking an experienced, people-focused and highly motivated Sales Manager to lead and grow our marine and powersports sales team. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader who is passionate about building a positive team culture, developing employees, and delivering exceptional customer experience.

In this role, you'll oversee all aspects of the sales department - driving performance, improving operational efficiency, managing inventory, and fostering clear communication across departments. You'll be instrumental in creating an environment where team members are empowered, motivated, and held accountable to achieve both personal and company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Leadership & Culture Development

  • Lead, coach, and inspire the sales team to exceed sales goals, budgets, and customer experience targets(NPS 80+).
  • Build a supportive, high-energy work environment that attracts and retains top talent.
  • Set clear expectations, track performance, and provide regular feedback to foster accountability.
  • Develop and lead ongoing sales and product training focused on customer excellence and team growth.
  • Encourage open communication and collaboration with the Parts, Service, and F&I teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Promote and model a customer-first mindset, creating long-lasting client relationships.

Sales Operations & Performance

  • Desk deals, evaluate trade-ins, and manage pricing to meet margin and inventory objectives.
  • Oversee lead follow-up processes within the CRM and partner with the BDC Manager to improve conversion and customer engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with sales processes and accurate documentation for all transactions.
  • Analyze sales metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Inventory Management

  • Perform weekly reviews of unit turns, marketing strategies, and pricing.
  • Target 90-day used inventory turns and 90%+ new unit non-interest bearing.
  • Ensure the lot and showroom are organized, clean, and retail-ready, with engaging displays of "hero" units and accessories.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records and oversee store-to-store transfers.
  • Manage and maintain the Power Lodge Brainerd website by regularly auditing and reviewing inventory listings to ensure accuracy in unit descriptions, pricing, and availability. Confirm all units are properly displayed with up-to date photos on the site.
  • Benchmark competitor websites to maintain a competitive market position.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide backup support to F&I when needed.
  • Help plan and manage offsite company events.
  • Build strong manufacturer relationships and assist with warranty registrations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in marine and/or powersports sales management.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams and a positive culture.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly self-motivated, accountable, and customer focused.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using CRM systems and inventory management tools.
  • Strong understanding of sales metrics and operational efficiency.
