Position Title: Sales Manager / Business Development Team Lead
Location: HSR Layout, Bengaluru (Branch Office)
Reporting To: Founder & CEO
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to lead our business development team. The ideal candidate will manage a team of 4–6 BDEs/BDMs, set sales targets, monitor daily activities, ensure consistent follow-ups, and deliver closures. This role is a mix of leadership, coaching, and hands-on sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team (5 members currently).
Set daily/weekly/monthly sales targets and ensure achievement.
Monitor team performance through CRM / call tracking / daily reports.
Conduct daily morning huddles and evening reviews.
Train the team on product knowledge, sales scripts, and objection handling.
Personally handle high-value client meetings and negotiations.
Maintain and present sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance reports to management.
Ensure no lead leakage – every prospect is followed up until closure.
Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and performance within the team.
Requirements:
3–6 years of proven B2B sales/business development experience (IT services preferred).
Prior experience in leading a small sales team (even as a senior BDE/assistant manager).
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Familiar with CRM tools and disciplined in reporting.
Self-driven and target-oriented, with ability to work under pressure.
Compensation:
Fixed Salary: Competitive (based on experience).
Performance Incentives: Attractive commission/bonus on team closures.
Opportunity to grow into Branch Sales Head / Regional Sales Head based on performance.
