Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified and compassionate School Nurse to join our institution in Malad, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of students and staff through preventive care, first aid, and health education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care to students and staff on campus.
- Maintain student health records and ensure all medical information is up to date.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor students with ongoing medical conditions.
- Conduct regular health check-ups and promote hygiene and wellness awareness.
- Coordinate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers regarding student health concerns.
- Manage and maintain the school infirmary and ensure availability of medical supplies.
- Prepare health reports and participate in health-related school programs and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a school, clinic, or hospital.
- Skills:
- Strong first aid and emergency response skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Empathetic, patient, and child-friendly attitude.
- License/Certification: Registered Nurse (RN) certification preferred.
